US President Trump has said that the capital is now under complete control, the National Guard is returning home however, they can be recalled if needed.
Demonstrations have been going on for days. President Trump has ordered the withdrawal of 5,000 National Guard troops posted in Washington. He was extended to quell protests in the city last week.

President Trump said they are going back, but they can come back immediately if needed.
He also tweeted that last night’s protests were less than expected.
